Manuscript Summary
The capitular office book of the Benedictine convent of St. Agnes in Schaffhausen contains a Martyrology (that of Usuard), the rule of St. Benedict, and the Gospel lections for Sundays and feast days, as well as the convent’s necrology with the names of 192 nuns. The book, written ca. 1400, is one of the few surviving manuscripts from the nunnery of St. Agnes.
