  • Pauli Diaconi: Historia Longobardorum Libri VI. (Alte beinahe gleichzeitige Abschrift; Text vollständig, 3 von 6 Registern fehlen. In Lib. I cap. IX p. 9 Cod. steht: Uuotan (corrig.: Uodan, superscr. odan) sane quem adiecta littera godan dixerunt.
Origin of the manuscript: Die Hs. stammt vermuthlich aus Italien (vgl. z. B. S. 164: hic scrivere debes capitula etc. und dazu Schönemann Diplomatik I, p. 332). Ueber den hs. Apparat siehe Bethmann Paul Diac. Leben und Schriften, aus Pertz Archiv X, 247-334 bes. abgedr. Hannover 1849. 8°. Im 4ten Band des Archivs p. 227 ist dieser Codex ins 12te Jh. gesetzt! Aehnliche Missgriffe sind häufig in jenem 4ten Band, welcher blos die erste Durchmusterung der historischen Handschriften St. Gallens enthält; sie wurden in den folgenden Theilen stillschweigend berichtigt.
