 Single column, 18 lines per page. Written area 163 x 135 mm (von Euw) Black Caroline minuscule by a single hand. By a handsome, broad hand of the Harmut era (Bruckner). Incipits and explicits in capitalis and uncials in red. For the prologue and the beginnings of the books initials in red, with following lines in capitalis, or rustics, in red or black (von Euw).

Later contents notes: (spine) Vita S. Sylvestri (s. XIX); (p. 1) Liber monasterij sancti galli (s. XV?). Later note on p. 1: Gelasius papa instituit hanc legendam legi a fidelibus sicut in decretis habetur et ita omni anno in ordine Carhusiensium legitur in refectorio in die natali S. Siluestri (s. XV).
