In this article I describe the contents of the MS St. Gallen, Stiftsbibliothek, 238, focusing in particular on Pseudo-Methodius' Revelationes in the so-called Third Recension, which I could detect among the texts of the manuscript (p. 385-392). Winithar adapted and integrated this work with biblical quotes, and then he gave it the new title De gentibus.

This paper deals with the text of Isidore's De Natura rerum, contained in this manuscript, with further discussion of some questions regarding its copyist, the well-known Winithar, as well as the Liber glossarum; from a stemmatic point of view CSG 238 is linked to some italian manuscripts.
