Writing and hands: Precise, thoroughly formed Caroline minuscule, written usually with a sharply-cut quill by ca. eight non-St. Gall copyists in the ninth century (von Scarpatetti). Black to rusty-brown ink.

  • Titles in red Rustica.
  • Red initials decorated with minor floral motifs (see C on p. 6, comp. A on p. 153 and T on p. 171).
